The Borrowers

In 1997 Director Peter Hewih produced the movie `The Borrowers' the movie uses lots of camera angles such as extreme close up, birds eye veiw and cross cutting plus many many more. All of these have been used carefully.

In one of the early scenes of the movie The Borrowers it shows the small family of 4 are fighting in their kitchen the director is using the camera angles close up and cross cutting to show that Homily and Pod are worried about arrietty and that makes us feel like we are in arrietty's shoes.

In another early scene of the Borrowers it shoes Pete and the family in the back of the moving truck about to leave Pete's big home because it is getting demolished and pete found out that the Borrowers lived with him. While they are in the moving truck  the camera cross cuts back and forth from pete to the borrowers to show fear or that something bad will happen.

While the family are still in the moveing truck they are sitting in small red box falling around. The audience on the other hand are looking down on the Borrowers and that is called a bird's eye view. This shows that we have total control over them.

In conclusion I think the movie The Borrowers  used great camera shots and an amazing amount of humour.

                                                                            What is the sun made of???????

For my science inquiry learning my question was what is the sun made of  and it`s mostly made of helium  and other hot gasses such as: magnesium, iron, silicon and others that I have forgotten. I started made my model with one polyester ball and then I cut it in half and then I panted them and after that I put tiny hooks in the tops of both of them and put thick string in it and hung it. I have to be honest it was pretty hard, especially the part were I had to thread the string threw the hooks.

For our master chef we made a sandwich with egg, lettuce and butter. It was a bit sloppy but still nice.

The tough kid challenge was cool and fun. But I didn't get that muddy though. My favorite part was the hay bales. The tough part was when I tried to run across the water slide.

It starts grumbling ferociously as I push the button. It kept on  groaning and moaning all night long. In the middle of the night I went to go and turn it off but as I went to go turn it off it stopped." ya" I thought as I walked back to my bedroom. I started to douse of but then I heard this funny noise." ugh" it had started again this time I didn’t bother to go and turn it off.

At the marae we had loads of fun. My favourite part was when we  learnt how to weave putiputi and to carve Koru. It was areally fun experience.  I learnt a lot at the marae.

The triathlon was really fun. I liked the swim the best because it was really refreshing. It was nice think I finished it.
